I agree with some of your feelings, especially about that Christian right part. Outside of some southern politicians I just can't imagine anybody using that term as much as these people do. I also think Harriett's religion is pushed a little too much and seems contradictory to her job but maybe that's the point, I don't know. I'd also like to really know the story behind her and Danny's break-up instead of just vague hints about her singing the Star-Spangled Banner and going on the 700 Club.
All that aside though, I really do like this show. The writing is quick and smart and I love most of the actors so that alone is a selling point for me. I wish it was pulling in better ratings though because I'd like it to continue. (or at least long enough to answer aforementioned questions, lol)
